Standards of Behaviour

Splintered Rock is a shared multi-player world and to ensure that the experience is as enjoyable and collaborative as possible the behaviour of players is expected to meet certain standards which are broadly similar to the standards that all residents of Second Life are expected to follow. A list of behaviour that violates these standards (commonly called 'griefing') is given below so that you can have an idea of what is expected and what you or other players should not be doing.

If you feel that you have witnessed a violation of the Community Standards you should report it to one of the Splintered Rock Managers listed below

All reported violations of Community Standards will be investigated by the Splintered Rock Management Staff. A resident who is found to have violated the Community Standards will usually be warned if it is a minor or first offence or may be subject to other sanctions including PERMANENT denial of entry to ALL regions. A list of offenders is maintained on the Ning.

PLEASE NOTE: Roleplaying is no excuse for any of the violations listed below. Admin Staff will investigate WITHOUT regard for whether the actions were 'in-character' or not. If you are going to engage in 'in-character' activity that violates the Community Standards it is at your own risk and it is your duty to make sure that all involved and witnessing it are accepting of the activity.
